third day of oktober

late morning

I stood in the cold

pouring rain

at the bus stop

I looked up, around

the dreary sad gray backdrop

of the sky

great contrast

the colour - autumn leaves

reds, yellows, oranges

colourful, bright

against that depressing gray

remembering to the year before

a weekend - the beginning of oktober

the weather was warmer then

the wife and I were up north - Oppdal

staying in a mountain setter

still the autumn leaves

reds, yellows, oranges

that colourful bright
